Christopher M. Smith

Chris is a technologist and writer from beautiful Meadville, Pennsylvania where he lives with his wife and two puppies. Currently he programs in C# and Ruby, administrates Windows and Linux servers, and knows a thing or two about HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

He writes for Lifehack and DevBurner, a fledgling site dedicated to software development, becoming a technologist, and productivity. In the past, Chris has written about Android at Androinica.

After finishing his education at Penn State Behrend in Erie, Pa, Chris became a programmer analyst for Erie Insurance Group. He is now working as the IT Manager for an aerospace company, Acutec Precision Machining, Inc.

Chris appreciates good design, likes well-made software, and tries to support developers by donating as well as buying their apps (especially if he uses them a lot). You can see what tools and apps he is using this year here.
